| Rev Ruth Fry - Minister | ||
 I minister at Chandlers Ford Methodist Church for 75% of the time and at Colden Common Methodist church for 25% of the time.
I've been a member of the ministry team here for 2 years now and I'm still learning names, it's such a big church community.
I'm married to Adrian and we have one son Harvey who is 18. We live in Winchester so not too far for me to travel to Chandlers Ford.
I initially trained as an orchestral musician at the Guildhall School of Music in London. My main instrument is flute.
I later trained as a secondary school teacher and taught music and religious studies in a variety of schools across the country for over 20 years.
About 10 years ago now I decided to test the call to ordained ministry in the Methodist Church and was accepted to train at the Queens Foundation in Birmingham.
I was ordained in Derby in 2018.
In my spare time I listen to music of all kinds from Gospel, to Jazz, Funk, Samba, folk, rock, baroque, romantic and classical.
I also find Qi Gong meditation helps me to unwind and de-stress as does completing jigsaw puzzles.
Being a Methodist Minister is a joy and a privilege. God longs for us to experience life in all its fullness whoever we are and wherever we are from.

| Jane Padley - Lay Pastoral Assistant to the Minister | ||
 I visit the housebound and the elderly on behalf of the Church and the Minister. This includes visiting those who are in hospital and keeping in contact with any who can no longer get to church due to age or infirmity. I also have special responsibility for welcoming new people and younger families.  I am the church’s Children, Youth and Families Worker where I have the privilege of being able to work with this generation through many different types of activities and groups that they might know more of Jesus and feel loved and welcomed into the family of God.

 My job is to plan for and carry out the maintenance and repair of the the fabric of the Church buildings. I also prepare and control the premises budget and have overall responsibility for caretaking and letting.Click here to email Glenn Stephens. | ||
| Barbara Ackroyd - Church Steward | ||
 We have three Church Stewards who work with the minister on policies that affect the Church family. We lead the other volunteer stewards who are responsible for preparing the Church for services.  I am usually on the premises early in the morning to clean and set up rooms ready for use. My hours are gererally from 7am to 1pm every weekday.
